Steps to Greatness is Lachlan Farley’s personal training studio at Unit 2, 101 Katoomba Street, Katoomba. This page covers the personal information we collect through the website, the Facebook enquiry form, bookings and your first session, and what happens to it after that.

We handle your information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. If any of this is unclear, email Lachlan@stgreatness.com or call 0418 246 741 and ask.

If you enquire through Facebook

The 14 Days to Greatness enquiry form on Facebook collects your name, email address and phone number. That information comes to Steps to Greatness so Lachlan can contact you about your fourteen days. It is not shared with anyone else and it is not sold.

If you book a session

The booking button on this website sends you to TidyCal, a scheduling service that is not run by Steps to Greatness. TidyCal collects whatever you enter on its booking page, such as your name, email and the time you choose. Its handling of that information is covered by TidyCal’s own privacy policy, not this one.

Email and keeping in touch

Once you have enquired or booked, your contact details are held in an email and customer management system so we can send you information about your fourteen days and, if you continue training with us, about your sessions. We currently use GoHighLevel for this. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time using the link at the bottom of it, or by emailing us and asking to be removed.

Your first session, and health information

At your first session you fill in an intake form covering your health and injury history. This is sensitive information under the Privacy Act, and we only ask for it, and only use it, to program your training safely around your body. It is not shared with anyone outside Steps to Greatness, and it is only collected with your consent.

The website itself

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how it is used, including which pages are read and whether a click on the booking button, a phone number or an email address was made. It also measures how far down a page you read. This tells us whether the writing is holding your attention, not who you are personally. Google Ads conversion tracking may also be used, to understand which ads lead to a booking.

The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs of visits, including IP address, as most websites do.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the services named on this page and what is needed to run them.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, and ask us to delete it. Email Lachlan@stgreatness.com to make any of these requests, and we will respond directly. If you are not satisfied with how a privacy concern has been handled, you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
